Which Oktoberfest tent is a good choice for families, has the best yodelers, or is the place to party? In During this year's Oktoberfest (September 18 - October 4), we will introduce some of the best Oktoberfest beer tents here, so check back regularly! At the top of the list is the Oktoberfest Lion Tent.
At the Oktoberfest Lion Test, the 15-foot lion sitting above the entrance of the Löwenbräu Tent is hard to miss; every now and then it lets out a majestic roar and takes a sip from its beer. No wonder that the soccer players of the local team TSV 1860 and their fans like to come here - their nickname is "The Lions".
Tip: By now, most beer tents are booked out in the evenings and on the weekend. So if you haven't reserved a table, hit Oktoberfest in the afternoons and during the week. The tents won't be as crowded and a reservation won't be necessary to enter the beer tents.
