German Speaking Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is an independent consultant who will try to get new signups from vacation rental and property owners in Germany. building and maintaining a customer base of new and prospective property owners in Germany. This position is integral to achieving revenue goals. This person will meet sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This person must have the ability to create campaign objectives and ensure that proposals achieve the client's and our goals. Work will primarily be over the phone and via email. This person must be flexible to handle new requests and responsibilities, and able to multi-task. Since property owners in Germany speak primarily German it is critical to be fluent and comfortable in the German language.

Requirements:

2+ years experience in sales. Creative thinker able to establish new prospects and possess strong follow up skills. Self-motivated, excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and German, strong presentation skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products, strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and reasoning skills, and ability to work in a small team environment. Website is built on a customized content management system, and candidate must quickly learn and use the system. Must be an individual (small firms also considered) capable of working on an independent contractor basis.

Representatives will be entrepreneurial and rewarded with an attractive commission-based model. This is a virtual opportunity, so the selected representatives may be based anywhere.

Marketing Specialist Consultant

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to serve as a consultant focusing on our vacation rentals product. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a online marketing campaign leveraging social media, indentifying influencal and relevant blogs, coming up with a PR strategy, and overall marketing strategy to help us spread the word about our unique "Live Like a German" offering. Work will primarily be over the phone and via email. This person must be flexible to handle new requests and responsibilities, and able to multi-task. This is a virtual opportunity, so the selected person may be based anywhere.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in product marketing and/or direct marketing where a majority of marketing activities involve interactive marketing and/or e-mail.
  • Clear demonstration of past success in marketing activities for travel related marketing activities.
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the marketplace including a demonstrated ability to think creatively.
  • Understanding of and past experience with the online travel and media businesses.
  • Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics
  • Strong organization and teamwork skills absolutely required
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experienced business judgment required
  • BA/BS degree, MBA a plus
  • Can collaborate with others, build trusting relationships and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow-through and adjust to changing client needs
