Located in southeastern Germany, Bavaria (Bayern) is the country’s largest state and second in population after North Rhine-Westphalia. By far the largest city in Bavaria is Munich (München), followed by Nuremberg (Nürnberg) and Augsburg. Bounded in the south by the Alps, Bavaria is famous as a hiker’s and skier’s paradise, and we feature vacation apartments in nearly all of its picturesque towns, including Berchtesgaden, Lenggries, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, to name just a few. Another popular way to explore Bavaria is by following the Romantic Road (Romantische Straße)—a north-south tourist route that begins in Würzburg and ends in Füssen, passing through numerous ancient and beautifully-preserved towns such as Rothenburg ob der Tauber. We currently offer a variety of vacation apartments in Bavaria to choose from, with more being added every day!
