Eisenach
My sister-in-law and husband were married in the Wartburg in 2006 and then spent the night there. Got a special treat of going up to the top of the tall tower to toast their marriage. This was also one of the first places I visited in the former east after the wall came down.

Hamburg
I loved Hamburg!!! If you are travelling on a budget and do not want to pay for a tour just jump on a ferry that takes you around the harbour. Sehr shoen!
