Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday
Depending on the arrival direction and arrival time in our region, we recommend taking a boat trip on the Rhine or the beautiful Moselle River. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Hunsrück and Eifel mountains and drive through the romantic valley, surrounded by castles. When back on solid ground there will certainly be a little more time exploring needed to be done. Continuing to the apartment in Cochem. The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen, bathrooms, and bedroom. In the evening, intimate gatherings and finale of the first day take place. Or you can take a ride to a nearby wine festival. We can book you a wine tasting with the winemaker!
Day 2: Sunday
After a hearty and wholesome breakfast buffet in the morning visit one of our beautiful cities such as at the Moselle: Bernkastel, Traben-Trarbach, Cochem, or or on the Rhine: Rudesheim, St. Goar with the Lorelei, or Boppard. Before you leave for home, we recommend you travel 30 meters deep to a rock-basalt volcanic basement of a brewery. There you will see an underground tour of a bygone era. After the ascension back up to the ground, you deserve a hearty Eifeler Vesperteller
in the brewhouse. This of course also a taste unfiltered beer from own production. After this it's time to take the trip back home!

How to maximize your savings and spend less during your Germany vacation?
You can cut down your vacation costs significantly by following these simple rules:
- Instead of eating out in restaurants most of the time your vacation rental apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen. By preparing your breakfast and dinner yourself you can save lots of money, but you can also live a more authentic Germany vacation by trying out local foods and recipes. (see some German recipe suggestions.)
- Use public transportation instead of a rental car. We provide you with links and details on how to get around using public transportation. Check out the corresponding Live Like a German travel guide for more details.
