Enjoy a wonderful breakfast with fresh baked bread & rolls and local specialties such as tasty cheeses and other dairy products before conquering mountain Brauneck. Modern days make such an adventure really fun and easy with the cable car all the way up to the peak, around 5,100 ft above sea level. You will not only find a myriad of ski possibilities during winter, but also a variety of trails leading you from hut to hut, and many more activities in the summer. The Panorama Restaurant offers besides fantastic views of the regional, breathtaking mountain world many delicious Bavarian delicacies. Later the day you might enjoy a relaxing time at the Isarwelle, including a circular flowing canal called the wild water run and the whole spectrum of whirlpool fun, kept at a constant temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.

Only around 5 miles north of Lenggries more spectacular views of the Alps and the famous spa town Bad Tölz, divided by the Isar River, await you today. Start your walk in the historic medieval old town center around the Market Street. The colorful paintings on the facades of the town houses display biblical subjects and express the hopes and wishes of its residents and often show simply the genuine Bavarian humor. Also enjoy the numerous cafes and shopping opportunities all around you. On the other side of the river lies the spa center displaying magnificent architecture and modern facilities.

Whether you like games and enjoyment, wellness or relaxation at Alpamare you will find it all. Europe's longest water slides and the unique indoor surf wave are great fun, and you are invited to rejuvenate in the iodine brine pool. Bubble loungers, neck showers, underwater music, lateral massage water jets and so much more are spread out on a total area of 800 square meters in the cleanest water park in Germany. The Bel'Mare Restaurant serves only fresh, healthy and organic products and you can select a snack, a crisp vitamin-rich salad or full meals that you can enjoy either in the restaurant or on the sun terrace. The tranquil lake Tegernsee, the spa town with the same name, Bad Wiessee and Gmund are major tourist attractions not only because of the beauty of the surrounding Alpine landscape and their unique position on the lake. All year round boat services are available and we recommend you to leave your car in Bad Wiessee and take a boat round trip to see it all in a most relaxing way. The trip takes close to 2 hours and you can adjourn your trip at one harbor along your route. In the evening learn about typical Bavarian hospitality, great food and special local drinks at one of the many traditional restaurants in Lenggries.

Mountain pasture should be your theme of today and a visit to the Stie-Alm is a most recommendable experience. As they say around here a bit closer to heaven, and that's certainly how you will feel today. You can follow well marked trails from Lenggries or take the cable car to the mountain station and take a very easy 35 minutes hike to reach Stie-Alm. It is not just an Alp but a working mountain farm with many animals, especially enjoyed by children. Wonderful cheese is produced here and you are invited to follow the process of making, before enjoying the finished product along with a typical Brotzeit. Of course you have a wide choice of other food on the menu, and surely you understand by now that meat dishes are mostly produced from their own live stock. It is easy around here to get in the right party mood with live music and the slogan Auf der Alm da gibt's koa Sünd.

Soon you will be in the most beautiful landscape all the way to the romantic Walchensee. Lake Walchen is one of the deepest and largest alpine lakes in Germany, with a maximum depth of 631 ft and an area of 6.3 square miles. That indicates already its popularity among windsurfing-, sailing- and diving- enthusiasts. The same road leads you around the lake until you reach the town Walchensee. Continue your sightseeing trip along the lake, and then drive on the winding road to Lake Kochelsee. In midst of this idyllic scenery lies the town Kochel am See, a popular place for winter and summer holidays.
