Culture and Military Museum
Grafenwöhr Culture and Military Museum

Experience the nearly 100-year-old history of the Grafenwoehr Training Area as well as the life of the soldiers and their fate. A cultural section depicts the everyday life life of the population in the Oberpfalz - in the past and today. The military section contains exhibitions about Grafenwoehr as a training area, a prisoner of war camp, and the personnel who served there.

One corner in the museum is dedicated to Elvis Presley and his military stay in Grafenwoehr for six weeks in 1958. A juke box, large photos and autographs of Elvis reminds visitors of his stay.
