Within a few minutes the Karwendel cable car takes you up to the impressive height of 2,244 m into the largest nature reserve of the Bavarian limestone Alps, offering a mountain restaurant, children’s playground, deckchair and sun terrace, panorama circuit, mountain tours and climbing path.

Hours: December through October daily 08:30am - 4:30pm.

Rates: 11 € Adults, 8 € Children.

There are the Karwendel cable car and the Kranzberg chairlift on the other side. Both trains leave in August.

I cannot say for certain, but I think the repairs are done long ago. However, I'm your prospects attention, that he expected many Schwierigkeitn on popular weekends. After being with us this weekend the G7 summit, precisely in Klais at the Schlosshotel Elmau. This is matches between Mittenwald and Garmisch. Limits are allewieder closed and controlled. The Karwendel Bahn is unfortunately closed from 03.11.-12.22.2014 due to maintenance work.

It all depends on the weather. The surrounding area offers plenty of hiking and skiing at the Kranzberg and Dammkar or in nearby Seefeld. Innsbruck is not far away and worth a visit with its flair. Greetings from the mountains Christl Kraus
