Gradierhaus Open-Air Inhalatorium
Gradierhaus Open-air Inhalatorium in Bad Reichenhall
The Gradierhaus is the world´s biggest open-air AlpsBrine inhalatoriuman, located in Bad Reichenhall´s Kurpark. About 400,000 litres of AlpenSole (AlpsBrine) trickle down the 13 meter high walls, which are covered with blackthorn. Take a walk around the Gradierhaus and breathe in the fresh air enriched with small salt water particles.
The Gradierhaus was built in 1912. Since then it has been a public open-air inhalatorium that attracts both national and international tourists. The evaporation of the salt water causes a cooling and humidifying of the air which makes it easier to breathe. It also improves the local climate in Bad Reichenhall.
