A farmer's breakfast is a simple, filling dish of fried potatoes, eggs, onions, leeks or chives, and bacon or ham. These are all ingredients in a saucepan and then mixed, cooked like an omelet or scrambled eggs.
It's a hearty meal and just the sort of breakfast that a German farmer might eat. The dish is perfect for leftovers or if you have nothing in the fridge.
