. Our property is a historic monument. The late medieval building with its steeply pitched roof was probably erected in the 15th Century (dated 1450). It was renovated from 2006-2008. This apartment, Wittmaack, on the ground floor, is about 66 square meters… [ + ] More Details
Here is Vittorio's Feedback:
graceful relax in the green and in the middle age
This apartment in Bad Windsheim is really beautiful, elegant, in a typical house of this area recently restored, fully equipped to satisfy any need: wash machine, dryer, dish machine, coffee machine, toast machine, TV, DVD and....sauna too !
Also all the furniture is typical and it gives a great character to the house. A large kitchen, a nice and wide living room with a comfortable sofa-bed (for 2 person is good), a big bath and a wide bedroom. Not anonymous at all! All perfectly clean. Nothing to say about it.
The location is perfect, 100m from the very centre of the village. Bad Windsheim is a really nice village with many restaurants, very elegant shops, Ice café, big markets are close but right outside the centre of the village.
There are the beautiful therme (spa) and the open air museum, very interesting to understand the middle age origins of the villages in this area.
At last, it's close to the most beautiful town of Germany , Rothenburg that is only 25 km far away . Also Wurzburg (35) and Nurberg (55) are easly reachable for daily trips.
All this area is beautiful, green, clean, relaxing.... really amazing! We spent a beautiful week here.
What I liked best: the kitchen, the furniture, the facilities, the location
What I liked least: Bad Windsheim speaks only german.... poor english anywhere.
