Here is Alice's Feedback:

space and location very good, cleanliness and welcoming very poor

Traveling with family of 6 with three generations. Three night stay. Arriving late from out of country. Arrangements made in advance and agreed acceptable for late arrival (10pm).

↵ ↵

Owner changed tune after arrangements made and we were already enroute broaching on hostility regarding late arrival. Rushed entry to apartment on arrival. One key only available for group of 6 people. No instructions on internet use, television, cable, heating (November arrival), etc. Worst of all, the bathroom smelled of urine, the bathmat was not washed, the tub, toilet and sink had not been properly cleaned. The kitchen table was sticky, spilled contents remained in the fridge, left over food materials were in the kitchen sink drain.

↵ ↵

We had a minor but urgent health issue with one of our party and had to separate as a group. When we contacted the owner for a second key he asked if we could drive to Frankfurt to his office to pick it up. When told this was not an option and that we were locked out of the apartment we had to wait in our vehicle for 2 and a half hours for the owner to open the unit.

↵ ↵

There were minimal towels and no cleaning supplies in the unit. We bought our own. The owner tried to make amends by reimbursing for the cost of supplies purchased and insisted on dropping by during the evening to apologize. He was still defensive and denied issues of cleanliness when this concern was discussed. Only one of the TVs was set up to operate and less than a dozen channels or so were available. A most unwelcoming experience and added a sour note to our family trip.

What I liked best: enough beds and space to accomdate 6 people

What I liked least: unclean and owner defensive
