Here is Mary's Feedback:

Perfect location for a vacation to the Black Forest
We stayed July 1-5 in this apartment. Helmar was able to accommodate us with a last minute addition of extra guests. The home is well-cared for, clean, and spacious. We had everything we needed. There is a grocery store right behind the house, and we were less than an hour from Strasbourg, Freiberg, Baden Baden, Triberg Falls, and the Hirschgrund (a ziplining place in the Black Forest). We also went to the silver mine in nearby Haslach and the glass factory in Hiltach. The weather was nearly 100 degrees each day, so we kept the house closed up to keep things cool, and took daily advantage of the guest pass for the lovely swimming pool in town. Our hosts gave us honey, homemade jelly, and homemade apple juice on arrival, and brought us a delicious dessert two days later. The evening traffic could be a bit loud, but because of the hot weather we kept windows open wide at night, so it was unavoidable. This is unusual weather for Germany! In the evenings we would sit on the deck and play cards and visit. It felt like we were returning home each night, which made the holiday even more special. I would highly recommend this apartment to people who want to explore the Black Forest area. It is a convenient place to use as a home base, and has all the amenities you could wish for-kitchen, washer and dryer, garden deck, parking, large bathrooms and bedrooms, internet, and lovely hosts. If I ever came back to the area, I would certainly book here first!
